The EAPL-S board is very happy to announce that there will be a pre-conference workshop in advance of the EAPL 2023 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania:
The workshop will provide an introduction to using R for statistical data analysis. It will cover the basics of running common statistical tests in psychological research (i.e., t-tests, linear/logistic regression, ANOVA) through interactive exercises. Participants will have a chance to practice using these methods on their own datasets or on provided ones. The workshop will end with a discussion of best practices for data analysis in psychological research.
It will be held by Dr. Oana Stanciu. Oana is a postdoctoral fellow in the Cognitive Science Department at the Central European University in Vienna (iSearch lab). She uses a combination of behavioral and computational methods to study how children and adults learn under uncertainty by actively engaging with their environment and leveraging the knowledge of those around them.
- The workshop will take place on July 4th 2023 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (please refer to the program on the dedicated conference homepage for more details),
- The event is exclusively for members of the EAPL (if you are not a member yet, you can sign up here!),
